Super Hero Planet - Dark Arts Comics

Super Hero Planet

At Dark Arts Comics we plan on branching out and making our own comics further down the road once we have followers etc. We have many ideas that we would like to develop into the next big comic. This is one of those ideas. Every good comic maker must have a superhero story. They are mostly similar except they are all different. Ours is just different enough to keep you interested. I do not have a full scene yet for this one, this is still in the early stages of the general idea.

Imagine a planet of superheroes, everyone has a power and there are schools that help them to develop those powers. As long as someone goes to a school and develops the powers, the powers remain controllable and usable. There are many different schools that one can choose to develop their own powers, according to how they manifest. If one starts to see a fire or water power, flying, super strength, teleporting, or sometimes no power, they can choose which school they think will help them to develop their powers the most.

When people are in Highschool they must play certain games to see which powers they may have. These games are designed to exert the most pressure in the areas that are known to develop powers. For example, if one is overexerted in the strength area, they may be more inclined to develop strength powers. If one is overexerted in the inability to fly, they may develop the ability to fly.

Every school has recruiters for the powers their school is known for, they attend the games and make their picks of their top school candidates. This is much like the NFL where there are draft picks, and they will get full scholarships to attend the best schools.

Very rarely does someone develop multiple powers all at once, more routinely people who have more than one power have mastered one and then learned others. The more the powers are used the easier it is to use and the better developed they become.

It is also extremely rare for someone to develop no powers at all. The one who stays at home and does absolutely nothing and avoids all confrontations will normally not develop any powers at all. There are also cases of people who depend too much on technology, and not developing any powers. There are also cases where people depend on tools too much, not having powers. The powerless are doomed to depend on the powered to help them when they cannot.

Some of these non-powered are the ones who become villains unfortunately because they are jealous of the others' ability to do all these wonderful things. This causes the Non-powered to have a lot of problems and they will overcompensate by using their knowledge of other things that have nothing to do with powers to try and take the powers away from the powered.

This has been another exciting story for the future comics that we are developing here at Dark Arts Comics, please let us know what you think and follow us on Facebook.
